[REVIEW] “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta”: Apologies And Appalling Antics!

Look here honey – last night was a mess!

And let me start with the mess maker: Momma Dee!

This is becoming a bit strange. You are obsessed with your son and his relationship. I think Erica said it best, “With two or three failed marriages and countless failed relationships- you’re in no position to give advice.”

And still, it’s all in how you do things. You get a kick out of making these women feel they have to “win your approval” to get in good with your son. That may be the case, but when you’re so wishy-washy it’s going to be hard for him to have a healthy relationship.

You want these women to tirelessly try to compete with you for the spot as “the queen on the throne!”

That’s not how this works. You’re the mother. You have your role. You have your place. Your throne is not and should not even be in the same palace.

Follow me… No one will be able to replace you and that’s not the objective. The woman that’s going to love him, support him, and hold him down at all times is who?

The obvious answer would be his mother. But Momma Dee- there are so many other things that this woman will be able to do for him that you can’t! You can’t be intimate with him, bear his children, build and keep his home, make sure he’s not lonely. And you need to stop being messy!

My favorite part was when you got him caught up saying how Erica was at the house and didn’t take him to the hospital during the asthma attack. Now while you’re dragging for Erica, all Shay heard was: “Erica was at the house at 3 a.m.?!”

Now she’s upset because she knows that at that time of night ain’t nothing open but…

Get your own business and stay out of your son’s business. AND IN THAT ORDER!

Shay, we all know you’re fooling around with Lil Scrappy and this may have been going on for a while now, but ummm…

I’m searching for nice words…

You’re just one in a number. (I personally don’t like the wig, but that’s not what we’re here to discuss.) And let me let you in on a little secret: Because you have allowed yourself to fall into the “friend I’m sleeping with” zone, that’s what you’ll always be.

He’ll always love Erica for having his daughter and being the shoulder to lean on and the “safety net”!

He’ll always love Diamond because they lived “the life” together and she was the first to break his heart.

But you, he’ll always just “have love for”. I’m just saying!

Lil Scrappy you are a crying shame! How dare you come take all that stuff out that girl’s house!

Then you want to be taken off child support, but you’re not even doing right while you’re on it. I hope Erica really closes that door. I like her. She said their daughter has two accounts. That’s the way to do it! Don’t look at “Love and Hip Hop” as a way to “ball out” or “stunt” for the moment. This could really be a come-up. So while Lil Scrappy blowing money fast in the clubs to “put on” for his city, you need to just keep stacking yours.

K. Michelle… I think reality television is going to work for everyone except you.

Hear my side: You have good music. We all like you on the audience side. The only people who knew you were crazy were the “insiders”!

Now we all get to see that something is just not quite right about you. You must understand that consumers aren’t just buying the product anymore, they’re buying you – the name, the brand associated with it. Now we have something to judge you off of besides your music. This was a bad idea…

Kirk and Rasheeda never cease to surprise. Good, bad, or ugly, I like these two.

I was so glad to see Deb Atney, Waka Flocka‘s mom! That’s a real boss chick in the game and she gave Rasheeda some great advice.

The common denominator when it comes to the flailing of her career is DLO. But at the same time, you can’t just drop the only one that has believed in you and stuck by you for so long.

I say you need new management, that’s true; but allow it to be co-management so your husband is still involved. Or you can just follow my first piece of advice: Let Kirk go work for a label and you stay home or work on other things.

Karlie Redd and Benzino! I don’t know who to drag through the mud first so just grab hands so I can drag both of you at the same time!

You two gave us soft porn on the first date. We all know it turned into real porn behind the scenes, but let’s just talk in terms of “what the viewers see”!

To us, this is the first date. Benzino you cooked and did all that nice stuff. That was nice. (Lol!)

Benzino- you’re going to meet her family. Then on the previews of next episode you gave her a key?!

You two are in the HOV lane, but I won’t hate! Karlie you better get that cover of Hip Hop Weekly. I want to know what’s going to happen.

Mimi, Stevie J, and Joseline– it’s crazy how I must couple your names together – but y’all seem to like it that way!

I like how Joseline has been sending those ‘threatening” texts to Mimi. You know why? It’s because it shows that Mimi is not the victim; she’s an accomplice.

Hear me out: You’ve been dealing with a man for 15 years, he has 4 other baby mamas besides you, and has dated countless women. You were there through all that so guess what?!

I’m sure a lot of those women looked at you in the same way you see Joseline.

So not only are you playing yourself, but you’re assisting him in playing with other womens’ feelings. That’s the real about it. You know he’s with Joseline, but you just keep tugging at him “for the sake of your daughter.”

Let him go and be where he wants to be without you making him feel guilty (even though he really doesn’t want to be with you). That’s the best advice I can give.

But I’m glad Joseline sat down and apologized to you. I hope you two can move on. But Joseline’s going to win because she “knows” she doesn’t need Stevie. She’s going to drag him through the mud and that’s what pigs like Stevie J like!
